About the company: Our client is a well-established Melbourne general practice with a strong referral base and a broad, steady workflow across key private client and commercial areas. The team is known for being approachable, collaborative and invested in developing emerging lawyers. About the position: Our client is looking for a Junior Lawyer (2 years PQE or equivalent) who wants an excellent platform to accelerate their career. You’ll work on a diverse mix of matters, with the opportunity to take ownership of files while still having access to guidance and mentoring when needed. Work will include a blend of: Property matters: conveyancing, contracts of sale, leasing support, due diligence Business law: sale/purchase of businesses, commercial agreements, basic corporate work Disputes/Litigation: pre-action strategy, court documents, debt recovery Private client: wills, probate, estates administration (as needed) Family law exposure: assistance with correspondence, disclosure and consent orders (where relevant) This is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, communicates confidently with clients, and wants to be trusted with real work—not stuck doing only admin.
